About the Company

Beverly Hills Precious Metals Review

Beverly Hills Precious Metals is based in California and founded on principles of patriotism and freedom. They have been endorsed by several conservative personalities and pundits. On their website, they say that they believe precious metals are the key to protecting your wealth against inflation. They also say that they believe inflation is caused by reckless government spending.

The management team at Beverly Hills Precious Metals has over 30 years of experience working in the precious metals industry. They want to help clients buy gold, silver, and other precious metals. According to the website, they also offer some IRA services.

They work with clients with any type of investment goal. Whether you want to invest a large amount of wealth in precious metals or just buy some collectibles, the representatives are there to help. Some of the services that the company offers include:

  • Purchasing your precious metals
  • Selling you precious metals
  • Storing your precious metals
  • Connecting you with a custodian for an IRA

Customer Approach

According to the website, every customer is treated with dignity and respect. But everyone is given a customized solution to their problems. Since each customer is different, it's important that they receive options that reflect their financial goals and circumstances.

When you work with the company, they'll get to know you, your current life, your precious metals interests, your concerns, and your tolerance for risk. Then they'll suggest which services or products might best suit your particular financial needs. If you're a collector, they may suggest certain collectible rarities. If you're an investor, they may suggest high quality and stable bullion.

In addition, you go through this process for every transaction. Since your life circumstances often change over time, the company doesn't treat you as though you're stagnant.

The company says that they want to cultivate long-term relationships with clients. They also say that they don't want to work with intangible assets or volatile investments. Their main goal is to ship the metals to you or your depository as fast as possible, so your wealth can be secure in case of future economic instability.

Selling Your Precious Metals

Beverly Hills Precious Metals Review

If you have precious metals that you would like to liquidate, you can do so through Beverly Hills Precious Metals. They have even developed a step-by-step plan on the website to show you how the process works.

The first step is to schedule your free consultation. You can either use the contact form on the website or give the company a call at their phone number. When you call, you'll explain what items you're looking to sell. A staff member will give you a price quote based on what they believe is fair.

It's worth noting, however, that we haven't been able to find any reviews from customers who sold to this company. Because of this, we cannot evaluate whether the pricing is actually fair. You should always check the going spot price of your items before you accept any price offer. It's also a good idea to look around at other companies that offer price quotes.

Once you and the staff member confirm the quoted price, you'll be emailed the order details. This should include an inventory list, the price, and detailed instructions for the shipping. You should ship the precious metals as soon as possible.

Once the package arrives and is inspected, then the money will be paid. They just have to make sure that everything is authentic and compliant with the agreed-upon order first.

There is a note that Beverly Hills Precious Metals is not a jewelry store. But they will buy investment bullion and most collectible coins. You just have to call and ask.

Buying Precious Metals

Beverly Hills Precious Metals Review

The company owner, Andrew Sorchini, has been selling precious metals to clients for over 30 years. You can buy precious metals by calling the company and finding out what they have in stock. You'll be given a price quote over the phone.

Whether you're investing for a personal portfolio or a retirement account, your items will ship with full insurance while in transit. If you have a depository vault, your items will be fully insured there as well. All shipments are also sent discreetly and anonymously, so you don't have to worry about thieves. Since they're insured, you will need to sign for them.

That said, the company doesn't have very much information about the products it carries online. As mentioned, you have to call to find out about their inventory. They also don't specify what payment methods are available through the website.

Is Beverly Hills Precious Metals a Scam?

Beverly Hills Precious Metals Review

As far as we can tell, this company isn't a scam. It has been in business for a long time without accruing any scam accusations or investigations. In addition, it is endorsed by multiple key conservative figures, with General Michael Flynn being one of the most prominent.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that it's the best company to invest with. There is no rating or accreditation with the BBB. We were only able to find two customer reviews online. One was positive, but the other was confused and anxious. It seems like the company representatives didn't explain the IRA process well enough to this particular customer.

It's also frustrating that you can't view the company inventory on the website. Most precious metals dealers show you what they have in stock, even if they don't show you the pricing. Having to call to find out their inventory might seem like a massive pain, especially when there are other companies that just have the items immediately available.

The website also has some confusing copy regarding precious metals IRAs. There isn't enough clarity about the custodians or the depositories that Beverly Hills Precious Metals works with. They don't even provide very accurate information regarding the IRS requirements for storing and maintaining a self-directed IRA.

Pros & Cons of Beverly Hills Precious Metals

Pros:

  • Endorsed by General Michael Flynn.
  • Straightforward setup and informative website.
  • Some educational resources available for free through the website.

Cons:

  • No company inventory listed on the website, so you have to call or email to get a list.
  • Some inaccurate information about IRAs that makes the expertise questionable.
  • A customer review seemed very confused and worried, which is not the feeling you want to have about your retirement account.

Final Thoughts

Beverly Hills Precious Metals may seem impressive, but it really leaves something to be desired. Though the company is legitimate and has several strong endorsements, it's also difficult to work with. Maybe that's why there are so few customer reviews available anywhere online.

One of the most frustrating things is that the inventory isn't shown online. You have to get in contact if you want to find out what's in stock. This makes it very difficult to shop. Why would you call to find out whether a product is in stock when you already know you can find it with another company?

All in all, we can't fully recommend this company. There are competitors that are doing much clearer and more comprehensive work with IRAs. And if you're investing in precious metals for your personal portfolio, there are competitors that actually show what they have in stock without you needing to call first.

Although we do think that Beverly Hills Precious Metals is a decent company, we believe that there are better companies out there to make your investment with.
