First, unless you have at least $10,000 you're looking to invest, you won't meet their investment minimum. This is a high minimum amount when you consider that many other companies have no minimum investment criteria.

Additionally, you may find that you end up paying higher fees with American Bullion. For individuals investing over $250,000 you'll pay more in fees since this company's fees are based on the amount you invest; they do not charge a flat investment fee.
